Some things never changes, but not League — it changes with every new patch. Champions are getting buffed or nerfed and it's good to stay in check with who are the king and queens on Summoner's Rift at the moment.
Seraphine (Bottom Lane) is an absolute boss right now, with the highest rating according to some popular scouter sites. She took the League by storm when she debuted three years ago, and stay up top to this day. To start with her you don't need to do much, just remember about few things:
Understand Seraphine's Abilities:
Stage Presence (Passive): Seraphine's passive grants her additional effects on her basic abilities when cast near an ally, emphasizing her role as a support. High Note (Q): This skill fires a skillshot that damages enemies hit and applies her passive. When used near an ally, it also grants them a shield and triggers Seraphine's passive. Surround Sound (W): Seraphine's W heals her and an ally while granting both a movement speed boost. When cast near an ally, it extends the range and triggers her passive. Beat Drop (E): This ability sends out a sound wave that damages and slows the first enemy hit. When used near an ally, it extends the range, increases the slow, and triggers her passive. Encore (R): Seraphine's ultimate is an AoE skillshot that charms enemies and damages them. When used near an ally, it extends the range and also charms enemies it passes through.
Positioning and Combos:
Seraphine's passive encourages her to stick close to allies during team fights to maximize its benefits. Combo her abilities by casting High Note (Q), Surround Sound (W), and Beat Drop (E) in quick succession when near an ally to trigger her passive for additional effects. Use Encore (R) in the middle of enemy groups during team fights to maximize its crowd control potential and charm multiple foes.
Itemization:
Consider mage items like Liandry's Anguish, Archangel's Staff and Rylai's Crystal Scepter to be a real damage menace for opponents. If things go well, you can get Rabadon's Deatchcap, or if they go south - get Zhonya's Hourglass. Always remember to cover her feet with Ionian Boosts of Lucidity.
Vision Control:
Use your E (Beat Drop) to check brush for potential threats, as it reveals hidden enemies.
Roaming:
Seraphine's E (Beat Drop) can be used for roaming and helping other lanes. Roam when your lane is pushed and safe, and you have opportunities to impact other lanes.
Teamfighting:
In team fights, stay near your allies to maximize the effects of your passive. Use your R (Encore) to initiate fights or peel for your backline. It can be a game-changing crowd control ability when used effectively.
Map Awareness:
Keep an eye on the minimap and provide your team with information about enemy movements and potential ganks.
Communication:
Coordinate with your team and provide information about your abilities and ultimates, especially when you're ready to engage or disengage.
Practice:
Seraphine's unique abilities and combos take some practice to master. Spend time in practice mode to get comfortable with her mechanics.
Seraphine's versatility and crowd control make her a strong pick in the support role, but she can also be played as a mid-lane mage. Adapt your playstyle to your team's needs, and you'll find success with the Starry-Eyed Songstress.
