2024 Ranked Changes

We heard you like splits, so we put split into split, and now we will have three splits.

Before you'll read about 2024 Ranked Season, let me tell you one new thing about the current one! The 2nd ranked split, won't end in November as primarily planned. Current split will end on January 3rd 2024.

Apparently people really liked the idea of more than one ranked splits. Because of that when the next ranked season starts, we can expect to have one more ranked split, than in this year.

For most people Ranked play is the only way the League is meant to be played. Thanks to the new changes, people like them will be able to have fun for whole year. 2024 ranked season will be divided into three splits. First one of them will start on January 9th 2024, and it will launch with big game changes, as it usually does. Each of the splits will be 4 months long, so 2nd split will start in May and 3rd split will start in September. More splits, more resets, more placements, more climbing and three times more ranked rewards than last year.

These changes should also let players to worry less, if they take breaks for playing ranked games. It won't destroy their whole year any more! It will also mean, that November and December will count much more than it used to. When it comes to game changes there won't be a pre-season. It means that everyone will start on the new uncharted waters, when new season drops. With 2nd split we will usual mid-season changes. 3rd split will bring much fewer changes, and it will focus on balancing the game before the World Championship.
