# **What Changed in LoL Patch 25.16**

Another 2 weeks of year passed, so we have new patch that hit the game. Below you can quickly check what important changes were made during last maintenance.
Here’s a comprehensive summary of the key changes in League of Legends Patch 25.16:
**Champion Updates**
Let's start with champions that are getting stronger!
*Brand*: Increased jungle viability and stun duration.
*Gnar*: Reduced Q cooldown for better early game.
*Illaoi*: Passive damage and cooldown improved.
*Kalista*: Better scaling and AP synergy.
*Morgana*: W damage increased.
*Qiyana*: Buffs to Q and W for better jungle and dueling.
*Rek’Sai*: Base AD increased and bugfixes.
*Singed & Rumbl*e: Red side damage bugs fixed.
*Sylas*: Passive now deals more damage to monsters.
*Sion*: Passive and R buffs for AD builds.
*Warwick*: Base AD increased, passive nerfed early.
*Zyra*: E cooldown and R damage buffed.
If you plaed champions from the list below, you might reconsider as they were nerfed.
*Jarvan IV*: Reduced armor growth.
*Lulu*: E cooldown increased, shield and damage reduced.
*Nocturne*: Lower armor growth and Q damage.
*Rell*: W shield reduced.
*Shaco*: Passive and Q damage nerfed, Q cooldown increased.
*Trundle*: W attack speed and cooldown nerfed.
*Varus*: Q and E damage nerfed, W buffed.
*Viego*: Jungle power shifted to lane; Q monster damage nerfed.
*Xin Zhao*: Base health and Q damage reduced.
*Yuumi*: Q and W healing/shielding nerfed.
Two champions had to be adjusted, as their abilities were not working as intended.
*Master Yi*: Q now stacks Kraken Slayer and Terminus.
*Mordekaiser*: Q now scales with bonus AD.
**Item Changes**
Only few iteams got buffed this week!
*Experimental Hexplate*: Increased attack/move speed.
*Sterak’s Gage, Eclipse, Death’s Dance, Goredrinker*: Fighter item buffs.
These changes should be more impactfull, as the items below were weakened.
*Reaper’s Toll*: Reduced attack/move speed.
*Movement Speed Prismatic Shards*: Reduced across multiple items.
*Sunfire Cape & Hollow Radiance*: Adjusted AoE damage scaling.
*Black Hole Gauntlet*: Reduced slow and damage.
**Arena Mode Updates**
- Fighter item buffs and movement speed nerfs.
- Mystic Punch reworked to reduce abuse cases.
- Early Exit option added for eliminated teams.
- Target dummy now spawns earlier in shopping phase.
**Ranked & Battle Pass**
We now know exact date when Season 2 ends. It will happen on August 26th! Day after the season 3 will start.
*Battle Pass*: Milestones reduced from 50 to 48 for faster completion.
